We give students the power to shape the magic of the stage from the ground up.Focused on technical theatre and backstage design, this hands-on program offers pre-professional training in everything from lighting and sound to set construction, stage management, and rigging. Whether students are building the world of a play or engineering jaw-dropping stunts in our acclaimed circus shows, they play a vital role in every performance.
At the heart of the program is rigging, a specialty few high schools offer. Students work with professional-grade equipment, learning to safely install and manage the aerial systems behind our soaring circus acts. From trapeze to silks, students are trained in the engineering and safety standards used by top venues and production houses.
