College Counseling Information for this Week!

PSAT Wednesday, October 22nd, 8:45 am -11:45 am

This is required for all 11th and 10th graders. The school has registered all students, and room assignments will be sent closer to the test date. Please make sure you have downloaded and tested the BlueBook app. All students must have this downloaded on their computers.

You can run the Bluebook™ testing app on a Windows or Mac device, an iPad, or a school-managed Chromebook.

  • Your device must be able to connect to Wi-Fi.
  • On test day, your device must be fully charged; it will need to stay on for 3–4 hours. We also recommend you bring your device’s power cord or a portable charger.
  • If you take an AP Exam on an iPad, you’ll need an external keyboard.

NEW!SAT Prep Workshop: 

College Counseling will host an in-person SAT Workshop with Apple Routh on Saturday, Nov 2- Sunday, Nov. 3rd. The signup and payment link can be found HERE. Students signing up for the workshop must be registered for the November 8th SAT. For more information, please use this flyer.

Remember students always have access to individualize SAT and ACT prep provided by the school in their Naviance account. SAT prep can also be added as an afternoon activity through the student life office.

Excused College Visit Procedure (Per the Student Parent Handbook): If a student is planning to be absent for any non-school-related reason, including a college visitor a non-RGNS athletic event, the student must complete a Planned Absence Form at least two days in advance of the absence. Planned Absence Forms are available from the US and Student Life offices. The form must be returned prior to the absence to the Student Life office.
